The team

One of the original founders of Ombra S.r.l. in 1994, he follows the company’s entire mechanical and engineering part. An excellent pilot with a winning past as a go-kart driver, he was the F.Junior Italian Champion in 2001 behind the wheel of the MP01 built by Ombra. He is also the Legal Affairs and Sales Manager for Ombra.

Always at Gianfranco’s side, Matteo is another one of Ombra’s mainstays. He covers the position of shop and vehicle maintenance manager, and directly takes care of the trips of the trailer-shop on the various circuits.

After driving for Ombra, Davide joined the team and carved out an active role for himself: he makes his experience on the racetrack available to the pilots and organizes the team’s trips for tests and competitions. He won the 2005 F.Junior Championship with Ombra and gave the Team its very first victory in F3.

The happy relationship with Ombra finds its natural outlet in joining the boys in the company in 2003, enabling him to share a common passion.

He began his adventure in motorsport in 1978 and later joined Ombra in 1997, cooperating in the building of the MP01. After acquiring important experience and obtaining excellent results at the international level with numerous victories and titles, he is now the Team’s technical manager. In 2003 he joined the company with the other members.
