How we work
Thanks to the experience gained with the construction of our winning Formula Junior cars and all the evolution parts for our successful Formula 3 team, Ombra created a special division for the recovery and the restoration of historic racing cars: Ombra Historic Racing.
Ombra Historic Racing has the competence and the experience to prepare, rebuild and restore competition cars of any kind, to the highest qualitative standards: the car comes completely renewed and back to its original conditions. Our philosophy consider fundamental to maintain the most of original components, independently from the initial conditions, to assure the maximum commercial value to the car and at the same time to bring these jewels to their maximum shine and to 100% of the potential.
We offer a service of complete rebuild of engine, gearbox, transmission, suspensions, loom and brakes, building the lacking parts or supporting us to the best experts, with great attention to bring bodywork, graphics and stickers equal to the original one with searches deepened on material of the proper period, through a vast archive of pictures and documents, picked in the years thanks to the great passion of the components of the team.
Thanks to our experiences we know well the demands of the passionate owners and drivers of historical cars: the auto must be safe, reliable and in perfect conditions and must not meet annoying problems during the track days: for this we also offer a suit service of assistance on the most important European circuits, with the possibility to organize for our clients the transportation of the cars and a relaxing hospitality service.

F3, nella configurazione attuale ha corso il campionato Italiano ed Europeo nel 1981 con il team MC Mtorsport di Mario Crugnola condotta da Emanuele Pirro. Ha corso saltuariamente fino al 1985 per poi restare ferma fino al restauro attuale: questo ha permesso di riportarla al 100% allo stato originale per riaffidarla a Emanuele nel vittorioso ritorno in gara al Montecarlo Historic GP 2010.
